You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by emailing hallo@fembalina.de.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you visit the website, server log data is processed automatically (IP address, browser, date/time, pages visited). This data is used to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short time.

Website content and images are delivered via the content management system Sanity (Sanity AS / Sanity Inc.). Fonts are loaded locally from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.

4. Cookies and consent

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to analytics and marketing services. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (entry “fembalina_consent”). Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are only loaded if you agree. If you decline, these services are not loaded. Strictly necessary cookies, e.g. for the member area, are set regardless (§ 25(2) TDDDG).

You can change your choice by clearing the local storage or site data for our website in your browser; the banner will then appear again.

5. Google Analytics

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information about your use of the website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, device and approximate location information). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Meta Pixel

With your consent we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland). It allows us to measure the effect of our ads on Instagram and Facebook and to show ads to visitors of this website. Cookies are set and information about your visit (e.g. pages visited, device and browser data) is sent to Meta; a transfer to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA is possible (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

We are jointly responsible with Meta for collecting and transmitting this data (Art. 26 GDPR); any further processing is Meta’s sole responsibility. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

7. Forms and enquiries

When you fill in one of our forms – e.g. the request for a free intro call, the Hormon-Signal-Check, an application for the Female Balance Sisterhood or an order for the Food Freedom Academy – we process the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, phone number, place of residence, year of birth and your answers) to handle your enquiry and contact you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Some questions concern your health, e.g. your cycle or eating habits. Answering them is voluntary; by submitting the form you explicitly consent to their processing for this purpose (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

Form data is stored in a Google spreadsheet filled via Google Apps Script (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible, EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We delete the data once it is no longer needed to handle your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Appointment booking (Calendly)

To book calls we embed the service Calendly (Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA) on our website. When you book an appointment, Calendly processes the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, preferred time) as well as technical data such as your IP address. Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. More information: calendly.com/privacy.

9. Member area “FBL Oase” (Clerk)

For our clients’ member area we use the service Clerk (Clerk Inc., 2 Park Avenue, Suite 2050, New York, NY 10016, USA). Clerk processes your name, email address and technical session data to sign you in and sets strictly necessary cookies for this. Clerk is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

In the member area you can write answers to reflection questions and your own notes on the lessons. We store these texts in a database provided by Neon (Neon, Inc., USA) through our hosting provider Vercel, together with your user ID and the time of your last edit. Lina can read your answers to the reflection questions in order to prepare your coaching; we point this out right next to the questions. Your notes are visible only to you. The legal basis is carrying out your coaching (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); where you share information about your health there, your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. The texts are deleted when you clear them, on your request, or after your coaching ends, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Health questionnaire and lab results in coaching

As part of 1:1 coaching we ask you to fill in a health questionnaire (Anamnese) in the member area and, where relevant, to upload documents such as lab results. This information is health data. We process it solely to prepare and carry out your coaching, and only with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your answers are stored in a Google spreadsheet and additionally sent to us by email (Google, see section 7). Uploaded files (e.g. lab results) are not stored on the website; they are only sent to us as an attachment to that email. We delete this data after the end of the coaching, unless statutory retention obligations apply or you have agreed to longer storage.

11. Newsletter and emails (MailerLite)

To send our newsletter and the emails following the Hormon-Signal-Check we use MailerLite (UAB “MailerLite”, J. Basanavičiaus 15, LT-03108 Vilnius, Lithuania). Your email address and, if provided, your name are used to send the emails. MailerLite uses tracking pixels to measure whether emails are opened and links clicked. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. More information: mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

12. Payments (Stripe) and invoicing (Wise)

For payments on the website we use Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland). Your payment data is sent directly to Stripe; we do not store full card details. More information: stripe.com/privacy.

For invoicing and bank-transfer payments we use Wise (Wise Payments Limited, 6th Floor, One London Wall, London, EC2Y 5EB, United Kingdom). Name, email address and payment information are processed for this. More information: wise.com/gb/legal/privacy-policy.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligations).

13. Embedded content (YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Instagram)

On some pages we embed videos, podcast episodes and posts from external platforms. When such content loads, a connection to the provider’s servers is established; at least your IP address and technical browser data are transmitted, and the provider may set cookies:

A transfer to the USA is possible; these providers or their parent companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG) or, where no consent is required, our legitimate interest in presenting our content attractively (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

14. Links to social networks and messengers

Our website contains simple links to Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and Telegram. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the provider; no data is sent to these providers beforehand. If you message us via Telegram or Instagram, the privacy policies of those providers also apply.

15. Transfers to third countries

Some of the service providers named above are based in the USA or process data there. Transfers are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

16. Storage period

We only store personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as long as you have consented. Statutory retention periods (e.g. for invoices) remain unaffected.

17. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
